Marina talks about the Plastic Ocean Movie and upcoming golf tournament

A feature-length adventure documentary that brings to light the consequences of our global disposable lifestyle, A Plastic Ocean has been screening to sold out audiences worldwide. Pacific Whale Foundation will host the Maui premiere followed by a discussion with experts on the issue of marine debris. Tickets are just $15 in advance or $20 at the door, with proceeds funding ongoing marine debris research conducted by Pacific Whale Foundation. Talked Jerleen Bryant, CEO of the Maui Humane Society. The Maui Humane Society (MHS) has achieved a 92% Live Release Rate for dogs in Fiscal 2017, meaning more than nine out of every ten dogs who entered the shelter were either adopted, transferred to rescue partners for adoption, or returned to their owners.
